Dive into a journey of rememberance and reconnection to the rhythms of nature as we explore ancient moon wisdom, archetypes, the gift of menstruation, yoga, delicious farm fresh food, circle, song, ceremony, healing and free flow movement.
Discover the keys that unlock the ancient wisdom that resides with you, be supported in sisterhood and embrace more of your sensitive nature. As we celebrate the gift of being women aligned with the cycles of life and our magic within!
Outline for Day
9:00am Arrival meet, greet & housekeeping
9:30am-11:30am Lunar Rhythmic Woman Yoga Class
The day begins with movement prayer and opening the sacred container of sisterhood as we ceremoniously invite the 4 corners and usher in deep connection with the land, mother earth, ourselves and each other. We get on our mat, for our lunar rhythmic woman class. Warming into renewed awareness of Grandmother Moon’s cycles, embodying her energies through asana (poses) & moving meditation. As we begin to evoke and embody the awareness of ourselves as women who are rhythmic in nature, constantly moving through cycles, Grandmother Moon moves us in our earth experience towards deep and nourishing support and awareness of our infinite nature. This class is flowing, nurturing and sensuous and progresses through the 4 phases of the moon providing the opportunity for our sisters to fine tune their awareness of the feelings that each phase evokes in her body. Moving in this feminine way infuses the awareness that our body is our earth temple vessel, so when we move her, nourish her, honour her and love her we are loving & honouring mother earth also... 2hrs (90mins of movement)
11:30-12:30 Washroom break, Refreshments, tea, and circle
Break to get a cup of tea and visit the washroom then we gather for circle to introduce ourselves and share our experiences of the class, we share our intentions, needs, desires or breakthrough requests for the day.
12:30-1:45 pm Lunch
Farm fresh food freshly picked and nourished by the loving folk at Headwaters Farm!!
1:45 - 3:45 Workshop: Magical Menstruation & Sacred Self Care
Truly understanding the power of menstruation unlocks the the magic of our feminine rhythms and the incredible gift of being woman. Most of us have never been introduced to our cycle in this way. This space is deeply healing and liberating! As we introduce you to a deepening connection with the 4 phases of of our cycle that reflect the moon many Ahaaaa moments will occur turning the cogs in your inner matrix, upleveling your relationship with yourself and the feminine... We explore the archetypes of Maiden/Sacred Rebel, Mother/Empress/Creatress, Enchantress/Medicine Woman, Queen/Elder... Learn how these archetypes within your monthly cycle have the power to transform your life!
We then explore the Art of Sacred Living through creating a Sacred Self Care plan that supports your months natural ebb and flow. This is key for us women to truly embody our feminine essence and support the sensitivities that arise therein... When we feel supported, seen, herd, from the inside out, all of life reflects that back to us!
3:45-4:15pm Ecstatic Dance/Freeflow Movement
Free flow movement that expresses the 4 Elements, 4 Directions, 4 Phases, 4 Expressions of the Archetypes of The Sacred Feminine Journey...
